2010 IS UPON US …

January 25th, 2010

Greetings all and warm wishes from the Lanc’s. We are all looking forward to a more active year starting with a Winelands concert in March with some special friends and expanding into the North with gigs lined up at some hot music venues that cook up there. Details will follow soon. The plans for expanding our rehearsal venue at Garth and Maxie’s Vita Nova into a fully fledged contemporary recording space are on track and dimension audits have been taken to commence preparations.

To celebrate the true wonder of music and how it has the ability to just keep on going, here are some snaps of  future Lanc’s … Robin’s daughter Hope who had earlier layed the Guitar track and Harry’s grand daughter Francis Ella who having layed down some syth riffs is seen here recording the vocal for her own composition … ‘My Cat’.

Once again Gary’s girls Abigail and Julia were amongst the very top music students in their respective grades. Julia in fact achieved the highest marks in the Western Cape.

Add to this mix Garth’s young man Kyle who is studying and mastering the drums, Brett’s young Tyler Fox,  who has no option but to be a part of music, and not to mention now veterans, Brett and Dylan, the future looks bright for Lancster Band to just keep on going … and going … and in such good hands.

We are looking forward to seeing all our freinds at our gigS this year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
