THE LANCS TO CROSS THE BOEREWORS CURTAIN!
August 25th, 2009On the 3rd of October 2009 the Lancs are joining blues big ones - Boulevard Blues Band - and others for a first appearance at the Blanc & Blues Festival at Bloemendal Wine Estate, the venue where the Table Mountain Blues Summit, that attracted a huge 900 strong crowd in November last year, still remains the talk of the town in circles blue. This event promises to be a fresh experience for the boys from the southern suburbs, who are expected to rock things up a bit before the BBB get on stage. Expect fireworks ….. and mmmmmmm ‘moogra moogra’ some original heritage blues from the Lancs as they intend to trawl the Lancaster Band song book back to those day’s when their stage was graced by Robin Auld and Brian Davidson. Do not miss this opportunity of 2 days of music, wine, fine food and company … see you on the other side!!! The festivities and entertainment continue into Sunday the 4th.
